What kind of game would I have with him that'd make him be all cryptic?

[ Granted, Roland would be so much into that sort of game, wouldn't he? Inigo really has that feeling after how generally dorky they often see him act at this point.. Pretending he's some sort of covert spy really seems up Roland's dorky, dorky alleyway.

Inigo slowly sinks more and more into thought, and it's that fact that finally makes his arms slowly slip, gliding off Tidus's sides. Be free, little bird. ]

I have no idea what he's going on about. [ But that fact all by itself is making Inigo sound more nervous by the minute - and look like it too, the look on his face easily visible for Tidus. ] But I should go over there. Right?

[ 'What kind of game'--please; as if they don't both know what Roland is like by now, with his falling into a character at the drop of a ~~hat~~ ball. And doesn't this sound like it's leading up to something?

With his arms frees, he shakes them without thought, Tidus's brain not working that hard or intensely into what's going on. A small unimpressed noise sounding. ]

Sure. Let's hope it's nothing embarrassing. [ Heh. ] Why else would he avoid saying your name?

[ was that really safe to say so casually to inigo ]

[ Is anything ever safe to casually say to Inigo.

This sure isn't, apparently, since the guy's immediately grow wide with dread. Absolute dread. ]

E-Embarrassing? [ Look, maybe at this point Inigo should consider getting changed so he can show there on time not wearing this.

But he is very much distracted now by Tidus dangling this hypothetical in front of his nose. ]

.. What kind of embarrassing thing? I-- I didn't do anything!

You better go find out. [ He looks Inigo over, no hint of teasing in his voice. Does that make things better, or worse?? ]

You wanna sling a hoodie on over that? Here-

[ Just let Tidus take off his--or start to, but he grabs his shirt in the process too, showing off the skin of his belly while he fumbles to peel off just his hoodie than both layers of clothing.

And--there we go! Just hold that out to Inigo. ]

Just tell Rol you're wearing pyjamas!

[ You know, for the trousers.

[ Inigo is so panicked about the idea of Roland seeing him in this that he'll gladly take any other solution.

Like taking Tidus's hoodie, for example. He doesn't even think about it. All Inigo sees is the hoodie being held out to him, and so he quickly grabs onto it and slips it over his head. It takes some effort, since the decorations on his glove-sleeves get all awkwardly bunched up inside of the hoodie, but it's on now. ]

Pyjamas--

[ Inigo repeats the word, glancing down at his pants before his gaze rises to meet Tidus's again. ]

Do you really think he's going to believe that? [ He doesn't even sound sceptical.

Just desperate. ]

[ 'do you really think he's going to believe that?'?

...

........... ]

Sure! [ Said, as Tidus reaches out and starts ruffling up Inigo's hair without remorse. COME ON LET'S GET THIS TURNED INTO BED HAIR. ] Just act like you rolled out of bed! 'Rolo sorry I'm late, I was having a wonderful dream about...good deeds, and children laughing!'

[ Cue a high-pitched voice which doesn't even pretend to sound like Inigo. ]

[ WHINE.

Because of the hair ruffling or because of what Tidus is saying? Well. As the famous gif says, why not both? ]

I don't sound like that! [ He first says, as if that sounded even remotely close to him to warrant such a protest in the first place, and then Inigo steps backwards to escape that ruffling hand. ]

Alright, fine, I'll just.. go see him.. I need to hurry anyway, so he'll believe I had to rush! Since it's the truth! [ Roland just won't have to know what Inigo was rushing from. His little costume party here.

Inigo looks like he's about to walk out of the room, but then he turns back to Tidus at the last second, pointing at the other guy. ]

If I won't come looking for you after an hour or two, you have to come save me! [ FROM WHATEVER ROLAND IS BEING SO.. WEIRD ABOUT.. ]

[ look at the absolute mess inigo is.

And that's without messing up his hair. It's a sight to be sure, and Tidus wishes he could take a picture of it -- which he can, technically, but he knows better than to try, the camera (somewhere in the fuss) being deposited on the bed.

For now, he lifts up a hand. ]

That's not an answer!

[ But despite his whiny protest, and that look on Tidus's face - he recognizes that mental laughter look, dude! -, Inigo knows he doesn't have the time to linger right now.

So they're the last words he says before he starts dashing down the corridors of the train, heading in the direction of the library.
