If there wasn't a plate of rainbow cubes in front of them, Tidus would...--psyche, he's moving them and doing exactly where that was going: inching himself closer to Inigo, getting onto his knees to do so.

"So you would?" Tidus asks, the obvious - to the last of what Inigo said. "I thought you told me you weren't like that? You got some other guys you're seeing?"

Where is he going to take this? Please, as if Tidus plans as far as 'tease Inigo'. The ends of their knees bump together.

"You dress up for them too?"

The moment Tidus moves closer like that, Inigo is trying to move away. Not that he has much space to do so on the bed, but he is trying to scoot backwards.

For how long that's going to be possible without him falling right off the bed.. well, we'll have to see about that.

"N-No!" Inigo sputters once more, apparently not having thought of the implications of what he was saying until this very moment, his face still brightly red as he shakes his head. "You were the one who told me you'd like it if I just dressed up and did that stuff with you..!"

And it's not even like that's the main reason as to why he just does it with Tidus, but he's flustered, and it's the quickest excuse he can think of in this moment to instead hide behind.

Look at him, trying to escape Tidus. As if he can't continue to shimmy himself, following Inigo along. Is he paying attention to the edge of the bed? That would mean paying attention to anything other than making Inigo wilt.

(Wasn't there something about being nice and appreciating Inigo earlier in this thread?)

"What do the other guys tell you to do? Do they get all close to you?"

Which he asks, leaning in to Inigo, putting his hands on his shoulders for support and to do as he's suggesting. A laugh to give away his games, 'cause he can't help himself; watching Inigo get like this, how fun it is. Tidus should resist playing with Inigo's heart this way, but he can't...!

Should he be glad that at least the topic has shifted from his sister to him? Maybe, but this is just as bad, especially when Tidus gets so close. Even though Inigo can tell that all of this is just one big joke from the way the other guy is laughing, it's still-- it's so much for his little heart!

Urgh.. he can't take this! The only way left to go now.. it's a counterattack, right? He can't move further away when Tidus is already holding onto his shoulders, after all..!

"W-Who knows!" Okay, maybe this counterattack would be a little more convincing if he wasn't still nervously sputtering, but he can't help that part. "Maybe they're b-better kissers than you!"

It's a super effective counterattack, where the chuckling stops, and Tidus knows this isn't a real scenario that's currently going on, but still-

Inigo can witness it, as Tidus's face goes from a paused glee, to easing into confusion, to turning into something less confident, and more- betrayed. If there were dog ears on this boy, they would currently be drooping.

"There something wrong with the way I kiss?" Bro? Pal? This is the look of someone who isn't so sure of himself, and knows he shouldn't be taking this seriously, and yet-!

Is there something you want to tell him??

Not that Inigo thought of that in the moment he said it. To him it was just a last ditch resort to try and get Tidus off his case. He wasn't even sure if the other would back down at all - so the scene he's witnessing right now is something he didn't even consider as a possibility! Why does he suddenly look like a guilty puppy when he was the one harassing him to begin with?!

Though he doesn't get angry. Of course not. In the face of Tidus looking like this, there's only one thing for Inigo to do - and that's nervously ramble, of course.

"W-What?! No!" He quickly waves his hands, as if to try and jedi-handwave make the thought vanish from Tidus's mind. "You're.. fine. No! You're great! I was just making a joke, Tidus! Y-You know I love kissing you!"

BRO, B-BRO, DON'T LOOK SO SAD...

"Well, you know-! I never made out with guys before, but I never had any complaints from girls. But you can tell me if there's a problem, you know? I'm not gonna cry - you can let me know whatever you want!"

If one guy rambles, then another must too, with tells of how He's Not That Bothered over the potential of not being absolutely good. Just in case he needs to say it! Just in case there's anything really, really that Inigo's been wanting to share with him but hasn't dared to!

But he'll accept that there isn't anything wrong about his kissing either, going on: "But if you ever wanna make out, you know kissing's my favourite thing. So- you know. Whenever."

It's at least gotten Tidus's mind off of teasing Inigo, as he seems to slip back on the bed, sitting on his side and where he was before.

With the sudden space he is being given once more, Inigo inhales and exhales deeply a few times, trying to get his flustered mess of a mind back under control. Some of the redness vanishes off his face, though it's not like he's looking exactly 100% normal again - apparently it needs a few more moments to fully fade.

But at least he feels a tad calmer. And he feels like it's necessary to feel that way right now - how else is he going to reassure his bro that he's fine, huh?

It enables him to smile a little at that last part of what Tidus says, this time letting Inigo lean a bit closer to where Tidus is sitting.

"Well, you did ask me if I wanted to make out, and I think you have to take responsibility for that sort of thing.."

..He did, didn't he? And something more, but maybe a bro needs to be (delicate) slow-going with these things, not rush into more than feels right in a particular moment; and for this moment, what feels right is leaning over to Inigo, planting a kiss onto his lips. A lingering kiss that turns into another, then another, before Tidus puts a hand on Inigo's shoulder and takes his lips back, just a bit.

"Come over here." Now's not the time to be a bit closer, but a lot closer. Tidus will guide Inigo to where he wants him (if he has to), an empty lap that shouldn't be empty, 'cause make-out time is on.
