Tidus accepts the kiss, every part of it, from lips to movement, to the slip of a tongue wanting to deepen. There'll be no arguing or questioning of this - this get-together they both agreed to, to keep each other company, to give comfort. And it's nice; Tidus will never say no to kissing, half his upper body on top of Inigo's now, leaning over him, in-between being happily in bed and getting to do this.

He lets the elbow and arm propping him up dip some, his other arm and hand resting on Inigo's chest, his body just in the right position to be doing this. There's no rush to ending anything about this. Seconds count into a minute, before Tidus thinks to bring his lips together, pecking Inigo with him. A giddy and silly look on his face, and truthfully, throughout his whole body.

"What if we got a kissing mission?" Heheh. "Now that's a mission I want."

Absolutely silly.

It feels like bliss.

There are so many things Inigo hates about this train ride, ever since he showed up so long ago. There are so many things that threaten to bring him to the brink of despair, virtually on the daily at this point.

But right now it's like none of that exists. Right now he's just one guy in bed with another guy. A warm body against another one, lips seeking out a combination of lazy and more intense kisses.

Why can't these moments stretch out into an eternity?

"A world powered by physical contact," Inigo mumbles. His eyes still closed for a moment, but then he slowly opens them, meeting Tidus's gaze. "Are you sure you could survive that, even just for a week?"

"You've got some wrong ideas about me."

It's just a low, as mumbled, the space Tidus has to speak it without withdrawing from the closeness between him and Inigo. The half-lidded rest of his gaze on the other guy under him, the silly smile continuing to make dimples by his cheeks.

"Do we get extra points if we have sex?" It's not an invitation, but if they're going to make up a world like this - one that requires a few kisses between their worldbuilding - then they might as well go all in. "Fifty for a handjob - wait, no. Two hundred."

If Tidus goes in for a kiss again after that, then there's definitely a hummed sound on Inigo's end in a kiss - one that evolves into a chuckle once his mouth is free enough again to produce the sound.

"Two hunderd for just that?"

Bro. Bro. They could make bank in this totally imaginary world in that case then, right? Handjobs are basically mild for them!

"At that point we might as well own the whole train if we go all the way." Fellas, is it gay to bang with your bro if it means you get to take control of the vehicle that's kept you kidnapped for almost a year now? "Sounds like a perfect story with a perfect ending to me."

There's a chuckle vibrating in Tidus's own throat. "You know the train wouldn't pay that much. But it's already paying us less than we deserve! I dunno if I wanna own the train though."

Hmmmm. Now is the time for some very serious thinking in the middle of their morning kissing, Tidus's gaze hovering to the side in his consideration.

"How about... a nice beach." Ah- "What if some place like the one with the volcano and the visions, 'cept skip the vision business?"

Or memory sharing business. Same difference.

"You know that if you could own the train, you could take it to a place like that, right?"

It's only a remark made out of amusement - and because the idea is kind of nice. Steering the train to some places that are only fun to see and experience for once, rather than arriving in every world while it's on the brink of destruction, and having no time to truly take in the nice aspects of it.

Only getting a few days of vacation every now and then just isn't enough.

"Though knowing you.." Inigo's voice trails off for a moment, and he presses another momentary kiss to Tidus's lips before he speaks on. "You'd make sure that it was a beach with a blitzball stadium."

Wow, that's food for thought. But the kind where Tidus isn't sure if he likes the particular dish, if it means owning his most hated train (and who knew he'd ever have one of those in his life- second life). It gets a wrinkle of his nose the further his thoughts are allowed to go, but that's soon enough diminished by the kiss that distracts him, bringing him better on the guy he's with.

"Sure. And we can have flowers too - a cliff, that looks over the beach and sea. Taiki can sit up there or fly around. Whatever he wants."

Painting, bird-watching, or off being a kirin. While Inigo got to have his flowers too. Tidus taps a few fingers against Inigo's chest.

"And you know, a beach means a lot of good-looking bodies. You can go kiss on a few more guys out there."

In this imaginary island place with a blitzball stadium.

He lets out a laugh. It sounds genuine, but something about it is also both surprised and flustered at the edges - doubtlessly because Inigo is now making this image appear in his mind, and he wasn't quite prepared for what it would bring to him.

"You mean get flustered at seeing that many guys practically naked and run away?" Because he knows that's going to be the truth. Please, as if he could ever kiss handsome guys on the beach, he's so much more likely to hide away from them forever. "I think I might have to be eased into that. If I'm not used to seeing one guy like that, then there is absolutely no way an entire crowd is going to work."

Hint, hint.

Not that it's necessarily a hint, hint, nudge, nudge for right now. They're just in bed, after all. Just being lazy. Tidus sleeping in his usual state is already so much, thanks, let's no lose anymore articles of clothing here.

He doesn't move an inch from his position, but does turn his head to look at something, thinking.

"We could probably make the thing show us a beach right now."

'The thing' obviously being the hologram projector they ~~stole~~ took along from Kamakan, of course.

"Then we'd have kisses on the beach."

"Oh, a practice session, huh?" Tidus's gaze followed with Inigo's, the projector in a cubbyhole in the wall, making him twist his neck to see it. There's some effort being asked of him for this task of switching it to the beach setting, buuuut.

If it's framed as a practice session... Tidus manages to pick himself up into a sitting position, pushing the blanket down some way with him, a playful glint in his eye.

"That means you need to get dressed for the beach too. Down to your shorts." And he's even wearing shorts these days! Or underwear. "Unless you want me to play the guy coming over and asking why you're in that shirt on a beach, and if you'd like to get out of it?"

Look, Inigo. Roleplaying on both of their sides.

Inigo's facial expression makes it so clear that he's struggling here. Mostly because he wants to 'yes and' this, rather than outright rejecting the idea, but it's hard when the idea involves stripping to any degree.

"Seriously?"

It's more a pitiful whine than any actual protest, while he's trying to mentally convince himself that it might be okay. After all, it's just Tidus here. That's not so bad, right? Tidus has seen him wear way less than just shorts!

(He might be squirming on the bed a little.)

"I want at least two kisses for that. As a reward."

"Shouldn't seeing me half-naked be enough of a reward?" No, two kisses isn't a big ask, but Tidus has never been shy about being proud of his looks (well, most of the time), and Inigo should appreciate the view he's going to get! A state of Tidus that he's seen before, but still!

"I'm the one getting out of bed to put on the projector. I should get two kisses too."

Hah! Now is time for the fight of who should be the one giving the kisses. Because nothing can ever be simple, and Tidus sits there, wondering - or waiting - if those kisses are coming now or later.

Please, Inigo is ready. Ready to give these kisses, that is. He needs another moment or two to ready his heart enough to be ready for the getting half naked part of this as well.

"What, are you saying I should be like the other fans and get a poster first?"

But his readiness to give those kisses means that he's moving himself up into a sitting position too, leaning a bit closer to Tidus.. but then stopping before their lips can meet. "Hold on, turn on the projector first. Or it's never going to happen."

Inigo knows how this works. They'll get way too distracted by those kisses. Actions first, rewards second!

Wow, what is this! Stopping right in front of his face and then bossing him around. He might comply, but since when has Tidus been that good? He gives Inigo a "Tease", then gives him one of the kisses, before shuffling backwards, getting off the bed so he can deal with the projector.

Turning it on, finding it set to that flower field that they got Seto to put in. Let's see, tap through, and...

The bedroom turns from a flower field, an open plain, to a promising view of a rolling sea ahead of them, the golden sand around where their bed is. A beach towel just in place where the bed is, as if the projector knows exactly where Tidus needs to turn back around, and- not think he can just walk onto that, but climb back onto it.

"Hey there," he gives, his smirk never having left his face. "Never see you before. You new around here?"

He sounds cheekier than he'd planned to, in that joking about roles. But why not? Even if Inigo goes along with it or not.

Fancy seeing you on this beach, new guy.

Tidus just isn't allowed to do cheesy roleplay. It's too much for Inigo's poor little heart. Sure, he should see it coming. It's practically a continuation of what they were talking about only a moment ago, but it still gets him all the same.

Maybe it's since this is just what he is. A fool, way too weak to that dumb smirk on Tidus's face.

A fool that's left sputtering in the face of the question, unable to provide a good reply to it, other than to suddenly feel very faint.

"H-Hold on!" He manages to force out inbetween the sputtering, his hands reaching down to fiddle with the top button on his pyjamas shirt, only to remember that wait, right, it's just pyjamas, he can pull the top off over his head-- his hands are not shaking because he's flustered, okay!

His head might even get stuck for a moment in said pyjama top, but he manages to get it off. There, Tidus. His pyjama pants sure aren't shorts, but at least you got that topless Inigo here. He lives up to his promises!

It's the kind of show that Tidus likes to watch. Nothing sexy or attempting to play smooth as Inigo wrestles with his shirt - a goofiness that entirely makes up their friendship. He does as he's asked, mostly because he gets a treat for Holding on; only the smallest chuckle let out, with Tidus still there when Inigo's head finally comes out from its shirt cage.

He waits, for a second or so, before getting right back into it.

"Wow - you always strip for guys you meet?" Because of course that's part of the roleplay, with Tidus's eyes going down Inigo's chest. "Hmmm... good thing you came to the beach. You need to catch a tan."

"O-- Only when they're handsome!"

It's definitely the sort of line that Inigo meant to say in so much more of a smooth way, but he can't help the way the words tumble out of his mouth when he's still so flustered, making his voice hitch before he can force out the full sentence.

Especially since the remark about the tan makes him a little more flustered. He knows very well that Tidus just means it in a joking way, but there's a tiny devil running around in Inigo's brain that immediately makes him start to wonder if Tidus really thinks there's something wrong with the way he looks.

Even though he tries really darn hard to quickly shoo that tiny devil out.

"But-- you know, where I come from, they would consider pale skin a mark of the upper class!" (Or just a sign that you spent way too much time in a dark apocalyptic world and a train without sun, but ssh, ssh.) "You can get many tanned guys on the beach, but you can't get anything like this!"

The 'this' is definitely coupled with Inigo putting his hands on his torso, as if to show off - and trying really hard to ignore the sensation of his scars underneath his fingertips.

Tidus drags out an 'ohhhhhhh', a sound of awe and being impressed by Inigo's explanations of upper-class ways. It seems roleplay!Tidus has found an upper-class guy. Who sounds like he's not very impressed by a beach guy, but Tidus won't go too far with that angle.

"So I'm lucky right now, getting a high-class guy stripping for me. Is that it?" That's what it sounds like! He runs his hands down his own covered chest, shirt still on.

"Should I keep this on then? See if I can look presentable too? I might be wearing it for a while, though..."

It doesn't take a day to lose tanned skin like his! Or just being on the darker skin side of white to begin with...!

don't call inigo out for being the absolute whitest boy around in every sense of the word

"No!" He says, almost still sputtering, but then realises he needs to calm the heck down over here. Sucking in a deep breath, Inigo tries again. "No."

He puts his hands on Tidus's shirt too, gripping the fabric.

"I want to see what's underneath here."

.. not that Inigo doesn't already know what's there, but if Tidus is committing to this beach guys roleplay, then Inigo will also give it a try.

"You can't brag about your skin and then not show it off!"

Listen to Inigo being so bold. It tickles something in Tidus, not exactly the pinnacle of smooth that he can trick the other guy into thinking he is. Confidence, Tidus has it, but it does warm him to think of someone wanting to see how he looks like. A feeling close to shy, but excited, too.

Even if some small part of him can't help but wonder, What is this? - what has this lazy morning make-out turned into? But Tidus doesn't sweat the meaningless details, giving Inigo an "Alright, yes, sir" playfully, his smirk now more of a silly grin; but one that comes with Tidus raising his arms to grab the fabric at his shoulders.

And this he's smoother at, tugging up the shirt over his head and pulling it down with his arms. His smile widening, as he finds that need for confidence as he puts himself on display.

"Well?" he asks expectantly. "Am I the kind of guy you came to the beach for?"

Something tickles in his chest as he watches this. He pulls his hands off Tidus's shirt so the other can properly remove it, and then there's the usual display. Tidus without a shirt, something Inigo has seen so often..

.. and yet. There's that ticklish feeling. Maybe it's because of this dumb roleplay-ish thing they're doing. Maybe it's because of those specific words Tidus is saying, or the emphasis that is being put here on his bare upper body. Maybe it's all of it combined that induces that feeling inside of Inigo.

But whatever it is, he absolutely can't stop the edge of awe that's audible in his voice as he speaks up again.

"You're exactly the kind of guy I came to the beach for."

His tone is just a tad more breathy as he leans back in after having pulled back to properly admire Tidus. "How about I give such a beach prince the honour he deserves?"

Do beach princes even exist? Who knows. Inigo sure doesn't care. The only thing on his mind right now is kisses.

Those eyes on him could warm him in place of the sun they don't have. Is it wrong, to like to be admired? And Tidus can mistake - or believe - the way he's being viewed right now is exactly that, though he doesn't need to question it, when Inigo does finally speak up. His lips press together as the swell of feeling inside his chest, pride and embarrassment.

It's somehow easier when Inigo comes back in close, a chuckle in his throat, his face coming to meet Inigo's. He wraps his arms to hang off his shoulders, like a guy getting comfortable.

"You do owe me a kiss," he points out. Because it was totally Inigo who was meaning to be giving the kisses. "I don't make an entire beach just for anyone."

Heheh.

Yes, because Tidus obviously put so much effort into this. Having to shift out from under the comfy blankets and standing up, just to be able to reach the projector and turn it on. What an effort. Truly something that cost him years of his life.

But Inigo won't argue it, knowing that this whole thing is just them doing some dumb jokey thing in the first place - as they're known to do at this point.

Besides, there are so many better things he could do right now than argue. Like..

.. well, pressing his lips to Tidus's. Briefly at first, pulling back just enough to be able to speak, though the proximity makes their breath still mingle.

"How about that one?"

He presses another kiss to those lips.

"Or this one?"

Is that enough kisses, bro? Is that all you wanted?

(Obviously he, too, is just teasing here.)

Thanks for acknowledging the effort getting out of bed takes, bro. That first kiss can barely be called a kiss, and Tidus would complain, if Inigo didn't come back to give him another. And then, instead of giving any verbal response, Tidus brings their lips together for a third, for a fourth. A fourth that tilts his head, that brings a hand around the back of Inigo's head; the flick of a tongue asking for more, as Tidus's other arm wraps around Inigo's back, bringing their bodies together just as close.

Just for a moment, but one that isn't short; enough to indulge in tastes and senses, a pleasant trip that when Tidus does withdraw, loosens his hold and frees his mouth, the feel of Inigo is still on his tongue.

"Like that," he finally says. "Beach guys like their kisses."

It makes them lose the ability to form more witty or cool remarks.

It's a moment that lasts long enough in Inigo's mind. All the moments they kiss do, really, but there's the enhanced factor here of the shirtlessness on top of it all - giving just that slight extra sensation when he's pulled close enough to have their bodies touch.

It definitely makes everything feel a little closer to some actual makeouts, leaving a red hue on Inigo's face even as they lips part again.

"I'm learning a lot today here," he quips in return, though there's a slightly dazed quality about his words. Like he needs a moment to recover from this.

Hence why he's still not moving. "Is there anything else I should know about beach guys?"

"Wellll...."

They like the dazed, confused faces of the people they're with, is something that Tidus could admit to; but he isn't quite sure how to phrase it, and he wouldn't want to fluster what's already a decent face. But he does give some thought to his next action, where he could take this. Flirt some more, that's a choice, and this could go somewhere sexy...

"Lesson two," he says as he decides, shifting his weight ever so slightly, "iiiis-!"

--and he flops himself, back on the bed, stretching in his back, chest puffing out as he enjoys it.

"--we like to catch some rays and relax!" he finishes. "Mmmm! Listen to the waves, Inigo!"
