I realize you might not be able to see if, since we are writing to each other rather than meeting in person, but I am a strong knight! Even if trouble would happen, I could protect both you and myself from it.

I suppose I can't know if it is exactly the same without knowing the full context of that, but.. it sounds similar enough, yes. In fact, I was part of a group back home that also went around trying to protect people! We call ourselves the Shepherds!
Obviously I am the group's only member in this place, but I still refuse to abandon my mission of looking after and protecting the people here all the same. I know it is what any of us would have done in my position.

I can't say that I am an official teacher or anything of the sort, but of course I would never mind helping out someone who wants to learn how to be brave and protect those around them.
Of course I would teach you! Anyone who wants to defend themselves and those around them should be allowed to learn how to do so, don't you think? The world would be a sad, sad place if only those who wish to cause others harm were taught how to fight!
Though I do have to admit that my speciality is swordfighting.. Do you think you would want to try that?

He tries to help where he can but he is obviously not so experienced, not as big to be as much of a threat or as much help in comparison. That and they prioritize protecting him, as the youngest, as a kid.]

They can be rather dangerous to practice with since they are rather sharp, but perhaps we can find you a wooden sword to practice with somewhere in this place.
