Actually, he didn't seem mad at all! His face was kinda... blank-ish? Kind of like he wasn't doing what he did 'cause he was angry... he was doing it because he felt he had to.

I'm starting to get a feeling a looot of people here have tragic backstories.

And of course this place would then bring it out at the most inopportune time.
(At least it's a big enough deal that Inigo is forgoing pointing out to Webby that her own past is kind of tragic to some people too. She gets away with it.. for today!!) ]
So there's tons of little children running around, and most of them are messed up in some sort of way? [ Like the world's worst babysitting job. ] Is that the summary of the situation we are currently working with?

Seems to be the case. But it should go back to normal in enough time... every time something majorly weird happens here, it snaps back in a few days or less. So we just need to do what we always do - keep a calm head, keep everyone alive, and keep moving forward!

Inigo's gaze immediately moves over to her when she says that, and the combination of those words with that beaming smile is absolutely deadly to a guy who is as weak to praise and - platonic - affection as Inigo is.
He blushes so much that his red cheeks almost make his blue hair look purple. ]
