I dunno - I never tried. [ Why would he eat chocobo food...! But at least he figures- ] We can give them to the rabbits to eat.

But no, he's being fussy about the existence of chocobos again, and his puzzled expression changes to one more sulky, exasperated, unamused. His gaze somewhere other than Inigo, until it returns to his face. ]

[ Maybe Inigo should know better. Because of course Tidus - of all people - would take that sort of thing as a challenge if presented just the right way. So perhaps reverse psychology would work much better, taking the fun out of all of this by not going along with it, or by pretending to not be worked up because of it..
But then again, Inigo is terrible at not responding like an impulsive idiot around Tidus, hence why the words leave his mouth before he's even really had time to consider them.
.. thankfully it seems that Inigo does know to provide a logical reason for his answer too, rather than just keeping it at a childish yes-no competition level. ]

But no, none of the complaints leave Inigo's mouth. Because instead he's much too distracted by something else, much like how the idea of those weird greens took up his entire brain capacity before.

[ Granted, he's not quite comprehending the baffled response comes from the idea given that chocobos are usually potty-trained. But as if Tidus knows what people do with chocobos!

Back in Kamakan! [ Sure, it was an illusion chocobo, but that counts! All the other illusions seemed very real too! ] I was standing right next to it! Those were the worst moments of my entire life!

I'm getting the fattest chocobo and letting it sleep in our bed. [ No buts, no nothing. Tidus makes appears from his arms a snack in waiting and bites into it - a cookie, most likely. He's now lost all interest in paying attention to Inigo as he looks around for the multiple higgledy, and their messing around with the plants.
This conversation is over. Their bedroom fate has been set. ]

[ It's not like Tidus's reaction is entirely out of line with what the other guy has been saying this entire time.. and yet it seems to startle Inigo all over again all the same, making him let out that surprised sound as he blinks at the other with wide eyes.
Maybe it's just since Inigo is easily startled and overdramatic - which is true - but maybe it's also since he didn't quite expect Tidus to keep pushing this hard.
Especially with this tone. Because.. ]
What? Why do you want this so bad? You don't even sound like you're trying to harass me! [ See, that's the main reason for him being so startled. He could understand if this was still a joke - though Inigo may be notoriously bad at telling when Tidus is joking or not - but the other sounds so grumpy about it?! ]
Seriously, what's with those things? [ At least he doesn't sound like he's making fun of Tidus, more just like he's.. baffled.. and his facial expression only seems to confirm as much. ] Do you have some special love for them? Like Prompto?

Which is why Inigo doesn't seem to take Tidus's opinion of his own opinion as anything offensive. Instead he just glances back at the flowers when the other mentions them before shaking his head. ]
No, I'm just moving some of them a little further apart. They all need a little bit more space of their own to grow now they're getting bigger. [ Don't want them to start to mess with each other's growth! ]
I wonder if the greenhouse is going to run out of space sometime soon at this rate.

Time to bug the train for more greenhouse space? [ Hmm. ] Was that one of the poll votes? You could just move them if it gets that bad.
[ Out into the garden, or wherever. Get some pots and take the dirt, though it shouldn't really be Inigo to do that when his lot were here first. But it's an idle thought, suggested half-heartedly. A glimpse at his book with his account of the questioning in view, but he doesn't take in any of the words. ]
You gardeners will start putting up shelves and growing on the walls before long.

[ Inigo seems to find the suggestion funny more than anything, a smile starting to grow on his face. Small at first, but then slowly growing wider. ]
We should see if we can maybe get some of those hanging pots! I'm pretty sure I saw them on a mission before.. [ Though maybe one from a long time ago, judging by the fact that Inigo doesn't immediately seem able to recall which one. ] That way we'd have more space!
[ And please, as if Inigo wouldn't be the first to move his plants if someone else needed the space, because he's a selfsacrificial idiot-- ]
I'm sure we'll find a solution in this carriage. After all, it's not like I can take over our entire room with plants when my roommate was gracious enough to not let a huge pet take over our room instead. [ He smiles. Look, he can be generous too, bro! ]

I'll have to start pushing back. See what else I can fit in there... [ Not a lot at all. He rests his elbow on his knee, a fist under his chin.
But he can think up some later, if he decides to actually care. For now he rises onto his feet proper, searching where Gibbs is amongst the other plants before looking back at Inigo. ]
You got any washing? Might head to the washers, see if there's anything in the room. 'm bored enough.

I left some stuff in our room. I was going to bring it there once I was done with the plants. [ In other words - if Tidus apparently feels like doing it, then it's appreciated if he'd take along Inigo's stuff as well.
But it's the mention of being bored that has him stopping for a moment after he says that, staring up at Tidus. There's a faint bit of surprise, but also a smile on Inigo's face. ]
Are you that bored though? It isn't like you to volunteer for chores.
[ He glances around, quickly determining that they're the only ones in the carriage and that it doesn't look like there's anyone entering either, and then he raises to his feet in a split second, holding his soil-covered hands behind his back as he leans over to give Tidus a quick kiss.
It's very brief though. Almost playful, teasing, with a slanted smile on his face, a hint of what else they could do - once Inigo is done, anyway. Dirty gardener is not exactly a sexy look, he thinks.
Inigo is already moving back down to sit next to his flowers again in a moment, like nothing ever happened. ]
